Terms of Service

The rules for using TikTok Song Finder: accounts, credits, acceptable use, third-party content and liability.

Last updated: 2026-10-20

1. Agreement

By visiting or using TikTok Song Finder (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) and, if you're a minor, have a parent or guardian's permission to buy credits.

2. About the Service

TikTok Song Finder is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance. “TikTok” and other names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe what the Service works with.

You paste the link to a public TikTok video, and we try to tell you the title and artist of the song heard in it, with links to listen on third-party music services.

3. Your account

  • You need an account to buy and spend credits. You can sign in with Google or an email link.
  • Give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
  • One person per account. Don't share, sell or transfer credits or accounts.
  • Tell us right away at support@tiktoksongfinder.org if you think your account was accessed without permission.

4. Credits and payment

  • A Credit Pack is a one-time purchase of credits at the price shown before you pay. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.
  • One credit is spent only when we identify a song. If no song is found, the video is private, deleted or unavailable, or we hit an error, no credit is spent, or it is returned to your balance.
  • Credits are added to your account after payment is confirmed. They do not expire while your account is active, are not money, can't be redeemed for cash and can't be transferred.
  • Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. We never see your full card details.
  • Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. Taxes, such as VAT or sales tax, are added where required.
  • Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. For customers in the EU and UK, buying credits means you ask for immediate delivery of digital content, as explained there.
  • We may change prices or the size of Credit Packs for future purchases. Changes never affect credits you already own.

5. No guarantee of a match

Recognition depends on the audio in the video and on third-party music databases. Speech-only clips, very short or noisy audio, heavily edited, layered or remixed sounds, and private, region-locked or deleted videos may not match, or may match the wrong song. We don't guarantee that any particular video can be identified or that a result is correct, complete or up to date.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break any law, or infringe anyone's copyright, privacy or other rights;
  • use the Service to download, copy or redistribute audio or video from TikTok or from any music service;
  • scrape the Service, run automated or bulk requests, or use bots, scripts or proxies to get around our limits, queues or credit system;
  • probe, attack, overload or interfere with the Service, or try to access data or accounts that aren't yours;
  • submit links to content you know to be illegal, or use the Service to harass, threaten or stalk anyone;
  • exploit bugs, abuse refunds, chargebacks or promotions, or create multiple accounts to evade limits;
  • resell or white-label the Service without our written permission.

We may rate-limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where the account was acting in good faith we'll try to give notice and a chance to explain, except where urgent action is needed to protect the Service or other people.

7. Third-party services and content

The Service depends on TikTok, on music-recognition and audio-retrieval providers, and on music platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music. Song titles, artist names, artwork, previews and listening links come from these services and belong to their owners. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability or terms. TikTok or any other provider may change or block access at any time, which can affect how well the Service works.

You are responsible for making sure that your use of the video you submit complies with TikTok's terms and with the rights of the creator.

8. Our intellectual property

The Service, its design, text, code and branding belong to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You keep ownership of anything you submit; you give us permission to process it as needed to run the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Copyright complaints

If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, follow the process on our DMCA page. We handle valid notices promptly and may close accounts of repeat infringers.

10. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service running but don't promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may change, pause or discontinue features, or the whole Service. If we discontinue the Service while you hold unused credits, we'll give reasonable notice and refund your unused credits.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service;
  • our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that can't be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend and compensate us against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service. This doesn't apply to consumers where local law doesn't allow it.

14. Termination

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 7–9 and 11–13) will do so. Unused credits on an account we close for our own convenience are refunded; credits on an account closed for a serious breach, such as fraud or abuse, may be forfeited.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Service's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of mandatory consumer law in the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us at support@tiktoksongfinder.org so we can try to resolve it informally.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll change the date above and, for material changes, announce them on this site. Changes apply from the date posted; if you keep using the Service afterwards, you accept the new Terms. If you don't agree, stop using the Service and contact us about any unused credits.

17. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a right isn't a waiver of it. You can't assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a sale or reorganisation.
